OK, so this isn't beer, but sugar-free chu-hi is alright by us. Incidentally, on the sugar-free tip, diet drinks aren't that popular and Diet Coke is really rare here making hitting a 6-pack of anything just that much harder. This place is ruled by the vastly inferior Coke Zero and it's a dagger in my heart.
But then there's Yogurito - it's a yoghurt based spirit (this is the pre-mix btw). We first saw it in a bar in Osaka but were too scared to try it. It's actually pretty good - kind of like Yakult with bubbles and booze. Will probably try and have a shot of this at some stage. I wonder if the good bacteria helps or accentuates a hangover?Next: Hiroshima on blast!
